The Department of Parks and Wildlife under the ministry of environment on Saturday the 19th August embarked on a mangrove planting exercise at the Tanbi wetlands. The exercise was graced by the staff of the department and officials from the Nema CHOOSO project who are partners to this initiative.
Abdoulie Saho of the department of parks and wildlife in giving speech highlighted that this exercise is part of commemorations marking the world mangrove day.
